Inside the Capital Area Food Bank
The Capital Area Food Bank is the largest food bank in the District. The bank distributes approximately 45 million pounds of food every year to its 500 partner agencies, which include soup kitchens, mobile markets and more. The partner agencies come to the northeast D.C.-situated food bank to shop in its warehouse for food and necessities to serve to the hungry.
